Title:
Software Test Engineer Qualifications:
Strong
experience with the following programming languages, platforms and tools: Primary
Responsibilities: - Assists
design engineers in developing and testing prototype products. - Will be
involved in the early requirement and design phase of the product. - Work with
engineers and obtain the complete hardware and software functional
requirements. - Analyzes
software/hardware requirements with regard to specifications and standards.
Prepare extensive regression test cases for verifying the hardware and software
against the functional requirements of the hardware/software - Provide
schedules for Test and Verification of the product. - Develop
Test Automation Scripts, Test Procedures used for software and hardware
verification against functional requirements. -
Independently must determine the type of Test, create Test Setup and perform
test to challenge the product. -
Communicate critical issues and provide product verification status updates. - Provide
verification report to engineering and quality on the production verification. - Maintain
the Test/Verification reports for future audits. - Manage
Test case inventory for products. - Will be
involved in Software Configuration Management Requirements: - Software
Engineering Degree with 7+ years in software testing and QA methodologies. - Ability
to write tests using shell scripts, python, Perl
or C/C++ - Experience
writing test automation at Unit level, Services/Integration level and UI -
Experience developing and executing test plans -
Experience using automated testing tools - Strong
problem solving skills - Strong
written and verbal communication skills. - High
degree of self-motivation to learn new methodologies that will enhance job
performance - Self
motivated and willing to "do what it takes" to get the job done - Ability

Technical Requirements: ·
5+ years direct
Document Control work experience in the computer or electronics industry. ·
Knowledge of
document control procedures including database storage, maintenance, revision
control, and archival background. ·
Excellent knowledge of ECO processes, BOM
structures, PLM, and ERP. Knowledge
of Epicor Vantage ERP a plus. ·
Ability to
interpret a variety of technical instructions in written, verbal, diagram, or
schedule format. ·
Ability to read
and interpret Electrical and Mechanical CAD drawings. ·
Thorough
knowledge of the required documentation for PCBs and PCAs.
·
Possess a
thorough knowledge of the process controls required for engineering design
documentation, from initial release, through revision change activities, to
obsolescence. ·
Excellent
ability to assess the impact of proposed changes to product documentation and
processes. ·
Excellent
ability to ensure that processed documents are complete, concise, accurate, and
conform to established formats. ·
Ability to judge
the quality of engineering documents. ·
Working
experience with various computer applications programs including, but not
limited to AutoCAD, MS Word, Access, and Excel. Familiarity with SolidWorks a plus. ·
Excellent
ability to organize and plan tasks for self and others and then communicate
those tasks effectively. ·
Excellent
ability to successfully reconcile competing priorities. ·
Proven
leadership skills, with the ability to work with others in a positive and
collaborative manner. ·
Ability to speak
