Duties and Responsibilities


Develop functional and performance requirements for new products.  Review and analyze design proposals, specifications, and other data to evaluate the feasibility of designs or applications. Research and evaluate electronic components to meet requirements of each design.  Successfully manage complex development activities through concept, design, development, test, and new product introduction phases. Act as single point of contact for development and bring-up of prototype boards. Review and approve technical work product of various engineering disciplines.  Analyze and interpret design and empirical data to resolve design and manufacturing related problems.  Author test procedures for new products. Apply various regulatory and industry standards that relate to electronics design and manufacture. Author qualification test plans/procedures and execute environmental and compliance tests.

 

VadaTech generates 3 to 4 new designs each month.  These designs require preliminary review and initial prototype bring-up under tight deadlines.  You will work directly with the design team to successfully launch these designs into production and software development.  Please check our website to see what technologies VadaTech is developing.

VadaTech Incorporated is seeking applications for an Embedded Software Engineering position focusing on Ethernet switch application software.  The desired application would have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline and have prior work experience with the following switching and routing protocols and related technologies:

VadaTech is looking for part-time senior IT administrator. The job is located in Las Vegas, NV.  Your primary role will be to consistently improve and maintain the systems infrastructure. Apply your prior professional IT experience in systems, server and LAN administration, network engineering, and desktop support to provide leadership, guidance and support to the team in these technical areas. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities – Process Engineering:

  • Participate in New Product Development process to evaluate concepts, design, prototype and test
  • Responsible for performing “Design for Manufacturability” and “Design for Assembly” reviews on new and existing products to IPC and other recognized specifications
  • Identify and lead implementation of new and enhanced electronic assembly capabilities
  • Responsible for the design and availability of manufacturing equipment, production tools and fixtures to support pre-production builds and product launch

  • Strong knowledge of Surface Mount Technology (SMT), wave soldering technology, with experience in lead-free processes (RoHS compliance)
  • Knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly processes: soldering (including solder joint characteristics), brazing, adhesive bonding, welding, and precision mechanical assembly Experience in development, implementation and maintenance of quality systems and processes.
  • Have strong understand of IPC standards, including IPC certification (IPC-A-600, 610, 620, or equivalent)
  • Able to accomplish root cause analysis and resolve problems on a conceptual and advanced troubleshooting level
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, audits and inspection techniques, and experience with ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100:2004 certification in a lead/supporting role
