Certifications and Compliancy

In the interest of promoting environmental responsibility, VadaTech has established a program intended to ensure product compliance with new environmental laws and directives. The most notable directive is called RoHS, or “the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment”.  RoHS and similar directives prohibit the use of the following substances in products placed into the market starting on July 1, 2006:

  • Lead
  • Hexavalent Chromium
  • Mercury
  • Cadmium
  • Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB)
  • Polybrominated Diphenylethers (PBDE)

VadaTech has systems in place to ensure on-going compliance with the RoHS directive. These systems include operating procedures that ensure these restricted substances are not utilized in any of the components we select during our design process. We also have procedures in place that ensure that the materials used throughout our manufacturing process are RoHS compliant.

VadaTech certifies that, to the best of our knowledge and belief, our products conform to the requirements of the RoHS directive.

VadaTech shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential or any other exemplary damages arising out of the information provided herein, or arising out of its provision of non-RoHS compliant products.
