VadaTech, a manufacturer of embedded boards and complete application-ready platforms, has announced new 40G/10G Layer 3 managed switches for AdvancedTCA (ATCA). The board includes two mid-sized AMC slots, providing a powerful combination of throughput and versatility.

The ATC806 is offered in three performance levels. Designers can choose the throughput level their application requires – 320G, 480G or 640G. Each slot can run either 40G or 10G, providing a versatile bandwidth offering. The ATCA switch provides two ports of 40GbE/10GbE to Zone 3 RTM, 13 ports to the Fabric Channel and one port to the Update Channel. There are also dual 10G ports routing to the RTM (Zone 3). The front panel ports include octal 10/1000/1000 Ethernet, one GbE, and one RS-232 via RJ-45.

VadaTech has also provides 10G/1GbE ATCA switches and low-cost versions. The company’s other ATCA products include integrated solutions, chassis platforms, carrier boards, processors, and RTMs.
