Boeing Recognizes VadaTech as an Outstanding Supplier

We are proud to announce an award from Boeing that recognizes VadaTech as an outstanding supplier to one of the world’s largest aerospace companies. The award specifically acknowledges:
  • VadaTech’s innovative design for Boeing’s P8 program
  • Our ability to understand and support mission-critical infrastructure
  • Excellence in quality and manufacturing processes
  • Project management skills and flexibility

Boeing gave special mention to VadaTech’s CEO, Saeed Karamooz, for his technical leadership and dedication to deliver a reliable long-term computing platform; and VadaTech’s Regional Sales Manager, Dan Marland, for his dedicated work to make the demanding part of the contract award phase run smoothly.

New Products

INTRODUCING THE INDUSTRY’S HIGHEST PERFORMANCE FPGA AMCs

The AMC595 and AMC596 are based on the Xilinx® Virtex® UltraScale™ XCVU440 FPGA, arguably the highest performance FPGA available today. These new modules also feature an on-board Power PC P2040 with memory, connectivity and on-board bandwidth optimized for compute-intensive applications such as large scale ASIC prototyping and emulation.

The AMC595 builds on VadaTech’s successful portfolio of A/D & D/A converters, while the AMC596 is the latest FPGA FMC Carrier based on Xilinx UltraScale FPGAs.

VadaTech’s lead customer for these boards is using them for algorithm development and testing prior to deploying in an ASIC for high performance testing of next generation networks, including 5G.

NEW 3U VPX FMC CARRIERS

VadaTech has released two new 3U VPX FMC carrier boards for applications with advanced data acquisition and digital signal processing requirements. The VPX516 features the Xilinx Virtex-7 690T FPGA in FFG-1761 package while the VPX517 has the Xilinx Kintex-7 410T FPGA in FFG-900 package.

These new boards are optimized for the implementation of complex FPGA algorithms with high throughput requirements. The wide memory channels supporting the FPGA allow for large buffer sizes to be stored during processing as well as for queuing the data to the host.

A VITA 57 compliant FMC site makes it easy to integrate I/O cards with A/D, D/A, networking capabilities and more.

The new boards are available in a range of temperature and shock/vibration specifications.

PCI EXPRESS FPGA CARRIER

Also recently released is the PCI516, a PCI Express (PCIe) add-in card based on the Xilinx Virtex-7 690T FPGA with an FMC site for A/D, D/A or networking modules.

The PCI516 provides active cooling of the FPGA and FMC, making it appropriate for power-hungry applications or those requiring temperature stability for good performance.

VadaTech also provides BSP support and example code to support your system integration.
