VadaTech Announces VPX018, a 3U VPX electronic load module for test and validation with loopback options on P1 and P2
VadaTech, a leading manufacturer of integrated systems and embedded boards and chassis, enabling software and application ready platforms, announces VPX018.
The VPX018 is an Electronic Load module in a 3U VPX form factor and can draw power from +12V, +5V, +3.3V, +12_AUX, -12_AUX as well as the +3.3V_AUX. Module can load each of the input rails with 1W resolution per rail on +12V, +5V, +3.3V, +12V_AUX and -12V_AUX. The +3.3V_AUX has a resolution of 100mW. The maximum power draw on each rail is as follows: +12V 120W +5V 70W +3.3V 50W +12V_AUX 10W -12V_AUX 5W +3.3_AUX 3W The VPX018 has a GbE and an RS-232 for external interface. The module can simulate any dynamic load based on the user requirement on any of the rails. The GUI interface thru the GbE allows ease of operation as well as the user uploading of predefined dynamic load (Time vs. watts per voltage rail and/or time vs. current per voltage rail). The VPX018 has an option to allow loop back on the high-speed TX/RX on the P1 and P2 connector for test and validation. The VPX018 P1 and P2 connectors utilizes high speed >25Gbaud rugged VPX connectors. The on-board CPU draws power from the +3.3V_AUX only. The VPX018 supports health management per VITA 46.11 Tier Two support.

VadaTech Announces VRT560A, Rear I/O for VPX560 (Xilinx Zynq-7000), 3U VPX RTM
VadaTech, a leading manufacturer of integrated systems and embedded boards and chassis, enabling software and application ready platforms, announces VRT560A.
The VRT560A is a 3U VPX Rear Transition Module (RTM) providing I/O expansion for use with the VPX560 for testing and validation. Dual GbE 1000BASE-T are routed from RP1 to back panel RJ-45. The REF_CLK and AUX_CLK are routed to the SSMC. The high speed SERDES and single ended I/O are looped back for test/validation. The JTAG is routed to the rear panel.

VadaTech Announces PCI122, PCIe Gen4 x16 Bus Expansion via Quad SFF-8644 (as a single combined x16)
VadaTech, a leading manufacturer of integrated systems and embedded boards and chassis, enabling software and application ready platforms, announces PCI122.
The PCI122 is one of VadaTech’s 4th generation PCIe expansion module based on the PCI-SIG specification. The Module has a Retimer/Conditioner to improve signal integrity for enhancing system performance and reliability across long cables. It removes both random and deterministic jitter from the input signals eliminating inter-symbol interference and resets the output jitter budget. It supports the full 16 lanes. The Retimer/Conditioner configuration is programmable for different length of cable via the RS-232 port. The PCI122 allows expansion to an external module via quad SFF-8644 x4 connectors as a combined x16, or dual x8 or quad x4. The x16 bifurcation allows connecting from the root complex to multiple end points. The SFF-8644 supports both active optical and passive copper cables. With the optical cables the root complex and the end point could be 100 meters away.
