VadaTech Announces VT801, Network Aggregator & Clock Distribution module for the VT505 module

The VT801 is a custom form factor module which allows up to four VadaTech VT505 modules be utilized in a single VT979 chassis. The VT801 reduces the number egress ports when multiple VT505 are being utilized. The VT801 has an on-board Ethernet Switch which allows for the aggregation of four of the VT505 data output when utilizing the VT979 chassis. The module has a 1GbE and 10GbE for uplink to the external network. The module also distributes the clock to each of the VT505 modules via the VT979 chassis which is synchronized to either IEEE1588/SyncE and/or the external clock (i.e. 1PPS). The VT801 also takes the RS-232 port from each of the VT505 modules and converts them to a single USB port. The VT801 also accepts an external calibration signal and distributes it thru the VT979 chassis to the VT505 modules

  • 1GbE to each slot with 1GbE and 10GbE uplink
  • Up to four VT505 could be utilizing with the VT979 Chassis and a single VT801
  • IEEE1588/SyncE with external clock option (i.e. 1PPS) for synchronization clock distribution

VadaTech Announces VPX998A, a loopback and Breakout I/O for 3U VPX Modules

VadaTech, a leading manufacturer of integrated systems and embedded boards and chassis, enabling software and application ready platforms, announces VPX998A.

The VPX998A is a loopback and breakout panel for a 3U VPX Module. The VPX998A is utilized for test/validation of the high speed SERDES of a 3U VPX backplane. The VPX998A via zero-ohm resistors routes the P1 and P2 of the front module high speed SERDES TX+/- to its RX+/-. Total of 32 loop-back which covers all the 32 SERDES (TX/RX) of the front module. The zero ohms resistors could be removed to reduce the number of lanes. The Module also brings out the JTAG as well as the two VPX P0 clocks into a Twinax connector. In addition, the Module brings out the NVROM/*SYSREST/*SYSCON to the panel for ease of access. The VPX geographic address could be set by an on-board switch to a unique address. The P0 power is brought to test points for ease of measurement. The VPX998A has high speed VPX connector for test/validation of 25G SERDES on the backplane.

The AMC015 is the third generation IPMI controller that meet all of the requirements for an AMC MMC and ATCA Carrier Manager as laid out in the industry standards from PICMG keeping with the long history of VadaTech’s Gen1/Gen2 IPMI controllers. The AMC015 is suitable for prototyping and evaluation of VadaTech IPMI MMC with VadaTech or third party MicroTCA compliant products.  VadaTech’s AMC015 is available with binary tools easily installable on third party Linux or Windows for creating the FRU/SDR/Detailed HW description flash images and upgrading the board with them without need to compile software.
