Description

The AMC606 is a 2.5″ SAS hard disk drive in a single module, mid size AdvancedMC^TM (AMC) form factor based on the AMC.1 and AMC.3 specification. With a storage capacity of 300GB and data transfer rates of 3Gbps the AMC606 is the ideal AdvancedMC^TM storage module for systems that need the SAS performance without having the SAS controller on the baseboard. The Module allows SAS capability and expansion to other AMC modules for storage expansion and redundancy. The front I-Pass connector allows expansion to another AMC606 or other SAS devices. The AMC606 has a unique mechanical design to position the drive electronics in contact with a thermal pad to ensureoptimal heat dissipation through the heat plate. Furthermore, the PCB is completely cut-away under the disk to allow airflow over the top of the drive.
