Description
The VTX358 is a high-performance, 5 slot 6U VPX backplane designed for mission critical applications requiring high-speed signal integrity and rugged reliability. Fully compliant with VITA 46.0 and VITA 65 (Open VPX), it supports five 1” pitch (5HP) payload slots and full Rear Transition Module (RTM) connectivity.
Equipped with next-generation rugged connectors, the VPX358 is engineered for data rates exceeding 25Gbps making it ideal for the most demanding fabric requirements.
The VadaTech Ecosystem: Order-to Scale Options
VadaTech offers unique ability to scale the VTX358 from a stand-alone backplane to a fully integrated, application-ready platform through the following co-product options:
Integrated Rack Mount Chassis: Save on design and integration time by ordering the VTX358 pre-installed in a 19” rackmount enclosure. VadaTech’s flexible metalwork design allows for up to two backplanes to be housed in a single enclosure. These configurations are available either with an integrated fan tray for thermal management or with no fan tray for installations utilizing customer-supplied cooling.
Power Infrastructure & Modules: To simplify power distribution, VadaTech can factory-install a dedicated Power Backplane within the chassis. This integrated interface allows the system to accept standard VPX Power Modules including an option from VadaTech’s robust line of VITA 62 compliant power modules. These modules are available as standalone units or as part of a fully integrated, turn-key system delivery.
The VTX358 backplane provides five 5HP (1” pitch) 6U VPX payload slots, fully compliant to VITA 46.0 baseline specification and VITA 65 with the support for the Rear Transition Module (RTM). The VTX358 has a maximum height of x”.
VadaTech can provide up to two backplanes in a 19” rack mount configuration with the metal. VadaTech has available multiple power backplanes for VPX Power Modules that could be integrated within the rack mountable configuration. In addition, VadaTech has full VPX Power Modules that could be delivered as part of the system.
The backplane utilized the high speed rugged VPX connector that can do speed of over 25G.
