add to compareThe VT987 is a 19” rack mountable multiport serial expansion module.
The module takes multiport serial input through dual High Density Connectors and provides the output through eleven DB25 connectors.The eleven ports are provided as four bi-directional ternary ports (J1-J4), four bi-directional binary ports (J5-J8), and three output-only binary ports (J9-J11).
A ternary port is made up of a clock and three data pairs in each direction. A binary port is made up of a clock and single data pair in each direction. Baud rates up to 2Mbps are supported on binary ports.
The module front panel includes port RX/TX activity, port clock valid, and other status LED indicators.
The VT987 can be used with modules such as the VadaTech PCI325.
